Location: On site - Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Responsibilities
Install domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
Repair domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems
Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors
Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings
Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment
Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines
Education Requirements:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Accredited plumbing certification
For non-local candidates applying : employment condition requiring Journeyperson Licensing and union enrollment eligibility
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Industrial Plumbing
Minimum 5 years’ experience in installation, maintenance and repair of complex industrial systems
Minimum 5 years’ experience in leading plumbing teams, including directing work, troubleshooting, and maintaining a high standard of quality and safety on the job site
