About the Opportunity The Associate Director of Enrollment Management Online (EMO) is responsible for developing, growing and executing marketing and recruitment strategies to grow Northeastern University’s online program pipelines, while also leveraging online initiatives to support on-ground, international, undergraduate, and pre-college programs. Reporting to the Director of Enrollment Management Online, this position supervises assigned staff within its portfolio while ensuring collaboration across all Enrollment Management teams, Experiential Digital Global Education (EDGE), and colleges. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge and skills required for this position are typically acquired with a Master’s degree in Marketing, Higher Education, or Business Administration and five years of experience in digital marketing, online recruitment, or enrollment management. Proven ability to manage and lead diverse teams. Proficiency with CRM tools, analytics platforms, and campaign management. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Strategic Growth, Recruitment and Innovation Develop and implement data-driven marketing and recruitment strategies for all online program pipelines. Identify opportunities and manage online initiatives to support on-ground, international, undergraduate, and pre-college programs. Develop and execute recruitment and marketing strategies for traditional online programs. Partner with EDGE and academic units to integrate innovative initiatives, such as interdisciplinary programs, performance-based admissions, and non-credit courses, into recruitment and marketing pipelines. Oversee implementation and management of admissions process for online programs within assigned portfolio. Provide full-funnel support and management of programs in portfolio. 2. Northeastern Online Program Support Collaborate with the Assistant Directors of Enrollment Management Online to support the entire online enrollment funnel, from initial lead generation through application submission. Develop and refine communication flows, CRM workflows, and outreach strategies to maximize conversion at every step. Build campaigns and communications that support all Northeastern Online programs. Collaborate with marketing and enrollment teams to track engagement trends and optimize interventions that drive applications. 3. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement Work closely with other Enrollment Management teams, EDGE, and academic units to align recruitment and marketing strategies. Represent EMO in meetings with university stakeholders to collaborate, share insights and propose strategic initiatives. 4. Data-Driven Decision-Making Analyze program performance data to evaluate performance of marketing and recruitment and identify trends and opportunities for growth. Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of enrollment metrics to support decision-making. Provide actionable insights to optimize strategies for online programs. 5. Team Supervision and Development Supervise assigned staff within its portfolio, ensuring alignment with EMO’s overarching goals. Provide professional development opportunities and mentorship and training. Compensation Grade/Pay Type: 109S Expected Hiring Range: $66,850.00 - $103,620.00 With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will depend on several factors, which may include your education, experience, location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role.
