Key Responsibilities
- As the Senior Director, you will lead, manage, and execute across the full
spectrum of marketing and communications:
- Global Marketing & Communications Strategy: Develop, own, and champion a
comprehensive, top-down, and multi-pronged strategic marketing and
communications framework. This includes repositioning GeoComply as a leading
provider of anti-fraud solutions, moving beyond the existing perception as
solely a geolocation compliance provider, and then leading the global
execution of this framework across all relevant channels.
- Executive Messaging & Narrative Leadership: Take full ownership of crafting
compelling and resonant messaging and narratives that clearly articulate the
value proposition of GeoComply's anti-fraud suite to executive-level
stakeholders. Emphasize its direct impact on their bottom line and sustained
profitability. Oversee the development and delivery of all necessary
communication materials to ensure these messages are effectively conveyed.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management: Lead the identification of
key executive stakeholders within GeoComply's client base, and strategically
develop and implement tailored communication and engagement plans to
influence their perception. This includes direct engagement and fostering
long-term relationships.
- Multi-Channel Strategy & Content Ownership: Design, implement, and manage a
multi-channel communication plan that leverages various touchpoints,
including executive briefings, thought leadership content, strategic event
participation, digital marketing, PR, and innovative communication methods to
reach and resonate with senior leadership, the broader market, and all
stakeholder groups. You will be directly responsible for leading and
overseeing the creation of all content required for these channels.
- Internal Alignment & Brand Stewardship: Collaborate seamlessly with
GeoComply's internal teams (Sales, Product, Engineering, IT, and Executive
Leadership) to ensure consistent messaging, brand alignment, and full support
for all repositioning efforts. Develop and lead internal communications
initiatives to foster this alignment and ensure brand consistency across the
organization.
- Performance Measurement & Optimization: Define, monitor, and analyze key
performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of all marketing
and communication strategies. Provide regular, data-driven progress updates,
insightful recommendations for optimization, and comprehensive reports and
presentations for executive leadership and the board.
- Market Intelligence & Strategic Application: Conduct thorough analysis of the
current market perception of GeoComply, identify emerging trends,
opportunities, and potential challenges in shifting this perception. You will
directly apply these insights to continuously refine and optimize the overall
marketing and communication strategy and execution.
- Operationalization & Team Leadership: Translate strategic frameworks into
detailed, actionable plans with clear timelines, responsibilities, and
resource allocation. Drive the operational changes necessary to implement
these plans effectively. You will be responsible for potentially building,
leading, and managing a marketing and communications team as the function
grows.
- Comprehensive Stakeholder Communications: Develop and execute strategic
communication initiatives targeting investors, internal teams, partners,
customers, the broader market, and media. This encompasses crafting tailored
messaging, overseeing the development of relevant communication materials
(presentations, reports, newsletters, press releases, website content, social
media), managing media and public relations, and ensuring consistent and
impactful communication across all key stakeholder groups to support
GeoComply's strategic objectives and repositioning efforts.
Who You Are:
- Extensive Experience (10+ years preferred): Significant experience in a
senior leadership role within strategic communications, corporate marketing,
or executive-level communications, ideally within the technology, SaaS, or
financial services sectors. A demonstrable track record of not just
developing strategy but also leading its execution with measurable results.
- Market Perception Shifter: Proven track record of successfully shifting
market perceptions, enhancing brand reputation, and elevating the strategic
importance of technology solutions among executive leadership. This includes
hands-on experience in creating impactful communication materials and
implementing comprehensive communication plans.
- Business Acumen: Deep understanding of business strategy, financial drivers,
and the concerns of C-suite executives, with the ability to translate this
understanding into compelling, executive-level communications that
demonstrate ROI.
- Exceptional Communicator: Outstanding written and verbal communication
skills, with the proven ability to craft compelling narratives, develop
various forms of marketing and communication content (presentations,
articles, talking points, digital campaigns, press releases), and present
complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Analytical & Strategic: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with
the ability to develop data-driven marketing and communication strategies and
translate these strategies into actionable operational plans that drive
results.
- Influential Leader: Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal
skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels within
and outside the organization. Proven experience effectively collaborating
with cross-functional teams and managing complex projects from strategic
conception to operational implementation.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the iGaming, fraud prevention, or
