The Bilingual Regional Planning and Supply Lead is responsible for preparation
of 30, 60, 90 and 365-Day horizon plans within their region as part of the
holistic Integrated Business Planning cycle.
The Regional Planning and Supply Lead maintains a current documented view of
plant capacities to determine the feasibility to supply or constrain the demand
forecast, prepare production plans and measure compliance. Within the structure
of the IBP cycle, this position will collaborate with Sales and Plant Production
staff. The Regional Planning and Supply Lead will formulate a plan to supply
products to fulfil the customer’s needs as communicated through the Yearly
Budget, Monthly Forecast Updates and Medium Term Plans. This role Leads plant
and regional supply reviews monthly in support of the organizational planning
processes. Measurement of key performance indicators will drive continuous
improvement opportunities. Ownership of regional plans is key to success in this
role.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Lead supply review in the Integrated Business Planning and Direct solutions
for shortages in supply that detract from providing optimal Customer Service
- Develop and optimize production master schedule per equipment to ensure
customer requested ship dates are met and maximum efficiency realized.
- Maintain ERP system data including managing of production orders, time
standards, safety stocks, and lot sizing. Understand ERP planning to develop
and publish production schedules.
- Coordinate with sourcing/purchasing team to ensure raw materials are
scheduled
- Work with Operations and Lead the respective region through supply challenges
- Engage & support Production and Quality Departments as needed to ensure
stable material flow.
- Tracking, analyzing and reporting pertinent KPI’s, as well as, suggest and
implement plant-specific improvement activities (i.e. Must monitor actual
performance against the MPS and production plan, and provide a summary of
operation results for management).
- Plan packaging requirements, inventory levels, stock and ordering to support
production
- Manage product requirements related to inventory and customer sales orders.
- Responsible for the creation, prioritization and maintenance of the master
schedule that satisfies customer demand, maintains production stability in
terms of material and capacity requirements and maintains appropriate
inventory levels of RAW, WIP and finished goods.
- Coordinate customer demand and forecasts with sales to ensure we have the
best information.
- Works directly with production, distribution and customer service to fulfill
customer commitments.

- 10-12 years’ experience in a Supply Chain and/or Operations role desired

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must be bilingual French / English.
- Role is remote with ability to go in office if desired. Could sit anywhere
from Ontario to New Brunswick
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
- 10-12 years Supply Chain related experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Excellent decision making ability.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
PHYSICAL DEMENDS:
- Sitting and using office equipment (computers, telephones, calculators,
copiers) for prolonged periods of time.
- Riding in vehicles or walking over changing terrain
- Lifting requirements generally under 25 lbs.
- Position is remote.
- Compensation: $90,000
