Hybrid schedule - 3 days in the office We are currently seeking to hire a Senior Financial Accounting Manager to ensure financial accounting transaction efficiency and prepare the firm’s internal financial statements in accordance with the Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE). You will be focusing on: Manage preparation and analysis of financial statements and management reports. Manage the analysis relating to rents, commitments, capital assets, investments, and prepare various balance sheet and income statement analyses. Manage a team of analysts and accounting technicians, evaluate their work and recruit new team members. Manage preparation of year-end files for the audit of the financial statements of Norton Rose Fulbright Canada and the Norton Rose Fulbright Canada employee pension plan fund. Manage the relationship with the external auditor and other external partners. Manage daily cash flow and production of cash reports. Prepare and analyze tax files and sale taxes for the various entities. Act as a resource person to management and other departments (answering questions and producing reports). Manage the preparation of the finance budget and other specific items (capital budget, rent, interests). Draft procedures, revise forms and review the team’s working methods to optimize processes and efficiency. Ensure that financial management policies and controls are followed. Revise, test and approve changes in the SAP system. What you bring to the role: Professional accounting designation (CPA). Minimum of 8 to 10 years’ relevant experience, including 5 years team management. Excellent knowledge of monthly and annual financial statements (including journal entries). Proficiency in Excel (knowledge of pivot tables essential). Must be very comfortable working on several files concurrently in a constantly changing environment. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of SAP an asset.
