Overview:
Victaulic is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Internal Auditor to
join our team in Brampton, ON. In this role, you'll primarily support North
American operations by evaluating internal controls, ensuring compliance, and
identifying opportunities to strengthen business processes. However, you will
also have exposure to some of our global operations as well. This is a
high-impact position that partners closely with corporate and manufacturing
teams around the world.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a key member of our Internal Audit team, you’ll provide independent,
objective assessments to help protect company assets and support sound
decision-making at every level of the business. You'll conduct financial,
operational, and IT audits—providing insights that help us operate more
efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess operational, financial, and IT risks, and help develop annual audit
plans and programs
- Lead and execute all phases of audits—from planning and fieldwork to
reporting and follow-up
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and provide practical,
actionable recommendations
- Support external auditors with internal control testing as part of the
year-end audit process
- Contribute to ad hoc projects and investigations as assigned
- Assist with the development and use of data analytics to enhance audit
processes
What You Bring to the Role:
- Bachelor’s degree an asset (Accounting or Finance preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in internal or external audit
- Working knowledge of GAAP and related financial reporting requirements
- Strong communication and report writing skills; comfortable interacting with
stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to
manage multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with
AuditBoard is a strong asset
- Analytical mindset, curious and solutions-driven
- Able to work independently and as part of a global team
- Willing to travel up to 25%, both within Canada and internationally

Salary: $80,000 to 90,000
