The Mission
The Sr. Director, Product Solutions will be a key strategic role in shaping Caylent's product solutions approach, capabilities, and execution. This position will establish asset-backed frameworks and methodologies that enable our teams to deliver high-quality, AI-infused products across our client base. The role bridges sales and delivery, ensuring solutions are both compelling to prospects and executable by our delivery teams.

Your Assignment
Product Engineering Leadership
Establish rigorous product engineering practices that ensure solutions move beyond prototyping to production-ready implementations
Create frameworks for rigorous work breakdown, estimation, and quality management specific to product development
Implement consistent tracking mechanisms for product engineering team performance
Drive adoption of advanced development methodologies such as A/B testing and Generative AI code generation
Solutions Development & Management
Establish processes for building, documenting, and maintaining solution assets
Create an evolving portfolio of solutions with supporting collateral
Develop capability to rapidly create tailored solutions for competitive situations
Build differentiated approaches for SMB vs. enterprise solution development
AWS Alignment & Leverage
Develop process for continually aligning solutions portfolio with AWS roadmap
Create vertical-specific solution overlays on AWS technology foundations
Build frameworks that translate AWS services into business solutions clients can understand
Maintaining relationships with AWS product and go to market teams
Align Caylent’s value proposition with AWS
AI Integration & Productization
Develop methodologies for AI productization and scaling
Create frameworks for AI integration into traditional solution areas
Build capabilities for ensuring AI solutions reach production environments
Execution & Implementation Focus
Develop methodologies that enable delivery teams to implement solutions effectively
Create tools and frameworks that support solution delivery at scale
Establish mechanisms to develop and scale the delivery team's capabilities
Partner with delivery practice leaders to ensure solution executability
Supplement solution leaders in go to market and delivery support tasks while developing their capabilities

Your Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years in product engineering roles, with a proven track record in technology services delivery prior to moving into leadership roles defining common approaches across teams.
AWS & AI Expertise: Strong experience with AWS technologies and services, along with practical application of AI in business solutions.
Product Management Acumen: Deep understanding of product management methodologies and best practices, including scaling solutions across diverse client scenarios. Does not have to be a product manager or designer, but can very easily converse with them.
Strategic & Influential Leadership: Ability to identify trends, think strategically to build roadmaps that capture them, and drive change through influence.
Business & Technical Depth: Strong business acumen to define solution value propositions, coupled with sufficient technical depth to guide solution maturity.
Clarity through Communication: the ability to distill complex concepts into easy-to-understand presentations.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in both high-touch enterprise and high-volume commercial contexts
Experience running a Generative AI product (or significant set of features) in production
Background in vertical-specific solution development (ideally in collaboration with other industry experts)
Previous experience at a consultancy with a similar business model
Track record of building internal capabilities and methodologies
Experience with formal partnerships such as AWS

This role may require up to 25% travel, depending on business needs.
Base Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this position is CAD 228,000 - CAD 267,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Additional Compensation Components: In addition to the base salary, the compensation package may include bonuses, commissions, equity, and other incentives. The specific components will vary depending on the role and individual and/or company performance.
