Hitachi Rail recruite un(e) Concepteur de matériel - Spécialiste technique pour son site de Montréal Montréal, Québec, Canada (Hybride) Les responsabilités incluent produire des conceptions d'applications et d'équipements qui répondent aux exigences en utilisant des processus basés sur des principes d'ingénierie établis et participer à des conceptions complexes et difficiles. Principales responsabilités : COMPÉTENCES TECHNIQUES Faire preuve d'un haut degré d'initiative et d'ingéniosité pour résoudre les problèmes. Bonne compréhension des plans de signaux SelTrac et de l'équipement radio SelTrac. Faire preuve d'un niveau avancé de raisonnement logique permettant de concevoir des applications matérielles, des produits et des processus efficaces. Interprétation et capacité à rédiger des exigences. Préparer des spécifications pour les composants matériels et/ou logiciels. Maîtriser l'utilisation d'outils de développement et de progiciels de CAO (Microstation, AutoCAD). Sélection d'une approche de conception appropriée Maximiser l'utilisation de la conception existante. Possède une licence Hitachi Rail CMS Designer ou Principles. COMPÉTENCES EN MATIÈRE DE GESTION Le cas échéant, diriger une petite équipe de concepteurs (1 ou 5 concepteurs). Gérer les tâches assignées, le calendrier et le budget. Suivre l'avancement de toutes les tâches assignées à l'équipe, Veiller à ce que toutes les tâches se déroulent conformément au calendrier, au budget et à toutes les exigences. Vérifier que tous les travaux assignés ont été réalisés avec précision et dans les délais impartis. Effectuer tous les travaux assignés de manière efficace, avec un minimum de supervision. Produire des estimations précises et justifiables pour les technologies départementales actuelles et fournir des estimations pour les technologies nouvelles pour le département. Comprendre parfaitement les instructions de travail de Hitachi Rail et le processus QMS. La connaissance du processus Chorus est un atout. COMPÉTENCES EN MATIÈRE DE COMMUNICATION Compétences verbales bien développées pour interagir de manière efficace et professionnelle dans divers forums, Compétences rédactionnelles bien développées pour préparer des documents clairs et efficaces. Bonnes compétences interpersonnelles et diplomatiques pour traiter avec confiance, courtoisie et correction avec des personnes de tous niveaux au sein de l'organisation et avec le client. COMPÉTENCES GÉNÉRALES : Capacité à travailler en équipe. Encadrer les membres débutants ou nouveaux du service. Maintenir un haut degré de professionnalisme dans le travail et dans les relations avec les autres. APTITUDES : Localiser et rechercher la documentation de base pour les activités de conception. Prendre des décisions en temps opportun, à la fois de manière indépendante et de concert avec d'autres. Identifier les problèmes ou les inefficacités dans le fonctionnement du département et suggérer des améliorations. Exigences clés : Diplôme de technicien post-secondaire ou diplôme d'ingénieur en électricité ou en électronique. 10 à 12 ans d'expérience professionnelle dans le domaine Connaissance des outils de CAO (Microstation, AutoCad), des nomenclatures (SAP), de la gestion de la configuration, de Hitachi Rail (Clearquest) et de la suite Microsoft Office Maîtrise de l'anglais écrit et parlé pour soutenir les projets internationaux Bonnes compétences en matière de relations interpersonnelles et de rédaction technique. Hardware Designer – Technical Specialist To produce application designs and equipment designs that meet requirements utilizing processes based on established engineering principles. Involved with complex and difficult designs. Key Accountabilities: TECHNICAL SKILLS Demonstrating a high degree of initiative, and resourcefulness in solving problems. Good understanding of SelTrac signal plans and SelTrac Radio equipment. Demonstrating an advanced level of logical reasoning resulting in effective hardware application designs, products and processes. Interpreting and the ability to write Requirements. Preparing specifications for hardware and/or software components. Proficient with the use of development tools, CAD packages (Microstation, AutoCAD) Selecting an appropriate design approach Maximizing use of existing design. Possesses Hitachi Rail CMS Designer or Principles license MANAGEMENT SKILLS When required, lead a small team of designers (1 or 5 Designers) Manage assigned tasks, schedule and budget. Keeping track of progress on all tasks assigned to the team, Ensuring that all tasks proceed according to schedule, within budget, and in accordance with all requirements Verify that all assigned work has been completed accurately and on time. Carry out all assigned work efficiently, with a minimum of supervision. Generating accurate, supportable estimates for current departmental technology and providing estimates for technologies that are new to the department. Intimate understanding of Hitachi Rail Work Instructions and the QMS process. Knowledge of Chorus process is an asset. COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS Well developed verbal skills to interact effectively and professionally in a variety of forums, Well developed writing skills to prepare clear effective documents. Good interpersonal and diplomatic skills to deal confidently, courteously, and correctly with people at any level within the organization, and the customer. SOFT SKILLS: Ability to work in a team environment. Mentor junior or new members of the department. Maintaining a high degree of professionalism in the job and in relations with others. APTITUDE: Locating and researching source documentation for design activities. Making timely decisions, both independently and in concert with others. Identify problems or inefficiencies in the department’s operation and suggest improvements. Key Requirements: Post-secondary Technologist diploma or Electrical or Electronics Engineering degree 10 – 12 years related work experience Computer literate with knowledge of CAD tools (Microstation, AutoCad), Bills of Materials, (SAP), Configuration Management, Hitachi Rail (Clearquest), and Microsoft Office suite.
