Under the supervision of the Director – IT Infrastructure, the IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations and projects related to IT infrastructure, as well as managing the assigned team. This role requires a balance between technical expertise and team leadership. The manager ensures the efficient execution of infrastructure-related tasks, manages outsourced IT services through business partners, and oversees projects to meet deadlines and stakeholder expectations. What’s involved in this role: Manage contracted IT services in collaboration with business partners, ensuring service level compliance, deliverable quality, and cost and performance optimization. Supervise day-to-day infrastructure operations, set priorities, and ensure that activities are executed efficiently, securely, and in compliance with established standards. Plan, coordinate, and lead IT infrastructure projects, closely monitoring timelines, deliverables, and budgets while maintaining proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders. Provide clear leadership and direction to technical teams, ensuring effective task allocation based on available skills and maintaining proper staffing to meet operational needs. Establish relevant key performance indicators (KPIs), monitor them regularly to evaluate IT service efficiency, identify improvement opportunities, and support strategic decision-making. Select, develop, and evaluate team members to enhance engagement, job satisfaction, and overall departmental performance. Work closely with the talent acquisition team to define job profiles, participate in interviews, and support onboarding, ongoing training, and professional development. Take full ownership of technologies under management, including asset lifecycle, software license compliance, service availability, and overall performance of deployed solutions. Maintain and evolve current ITIL processes, particularly those related to change, configuration, and knowledge management, ensuring strong governance and continuous improvement. Plan, monitor, and optimize operational budgets (OPEX) within your scope of responsibility, ensuring efficient use of financial resources aligned with organizational goals. What you need to join our team: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, including significant experience managing infrastructure and operations; Proven experience with network technologies such as SDWAN, MPLS, firewalls, routers, switches, NetFlow, Wi-Fi, etc.; Cisco and Palo-Alto certifications are considered major assets; Strong leadership and experience managing outsourced services and multi-vendor environments.
