What you’ll do:
Support PP Supervisor on daily workflow planning within Data Entry team
Oversee and support Safety team daily with full circle process of safety orders, redos etc.
Handles “higher level” customer calls needed. (order taking, work in process or other questions)
Handles communication between Hoya and Associations if/when needed
Follows scripting, or other professional communication as required by HOYA
Understands and follows all SOP for all tasks
Understands and utilizes all methods of job tracking or late job follow up and communicates as required.
Good working knowledge of DVI screens; competently processes all types of redo, credits, add notes, cancel jobs, tray change, account changes, etc.
Able to identify in house vs. outsource lab orders, and transmits accordingly
Understands Eyesafe/Iris/SECP and other safety ordering systems
Validates orders against contract availabilities and company specific allowances
Picks orders from inventory, tracking inventory that is pulled and going back into stock to maintain accurate inventory records – annual reconciliation of stock counts
Orders frames from suppliers where needed
Identify urgent or problem jobs and make appropriate communications, verbally and/or electronically, and/or using standardized stickers or forms
Qualifications:
High School OSSD diploma or equivalent required
Work produced is subject to precise measures of quantity and quality.
Near vision and sharp focus to adjust vision when doing close work.
Occasional lifting/ carrying 10lbs or less, pushing/ pulling 30lbs or less.
