This position is based at our Milton, ON facility. The Machine Operator's primary function is to setup and operate fabrication equipment used for the production of parts for standard and custom panel boards & switch boards to support both internal and external customers. Perform simple preventative maintenance tasks as required. Work from drawings, sketches, manufacturing information to determine dimensions as well as from written or verbal instruction from supervisor. Ensure completed production orders are kept in an organized manner; through utilizing proper bin selection, tagging, pallet sizes and routed to the next operation. Completed high school diploma or GED from an accredited school. Minimum one year of fabrication experience operating at least one of the following: shearing, punching and/or bending machines. Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within an 80 km radius of Milton, ON will be considered. Position Criteria: Ability to read and understand basic drawings and layouts. Good digital skills, including MS Office (Word & Excel). Demonstrated ability to work safely, on multiple projects, in a manufacturing environment.
