In anticipation of future project demands, WSP invites talented professionals interested in CAD design to submit their resume.
WSP is seeking an Intermediate CAD Technician to join our dynamic Infrastructure department. In this role, you will report to the CAD Manager, Infrastructure, and leverage your Civil 3D expertise to contribute to a variety of projects. From conceptual design to project completion, you will work on land development initiatives for residential, commercial, and industrial subdivisions, as well as municipal design and roadway projects.

What you can expect to do here:
AutoCAD Civil 3D Application: Apply your expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D to manage projects from concept through to completion.
Engineering drawings: Prepare engineering drawings to specified standards.
Design assistance: Assist in various design tasks.
Earthworks modeling: Perform earthworks modelling.
Additional duties: Undertake other duties as assigned or required.
What you’ll bring to WSP:
Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or Engineering Design and Drafting;
5-9 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting and design;
Experience in working on the field would be considered as an asset;
Knowledge in AutoCAD Civil 3D software is mandatory;
Highly motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic team player;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a flexible attitude are a must; and
Capable of working independently.
