We are looking for an enthusiastic, collaborative individual to join our Retail Team as a Visual Coordinator. The visual coordinator will work closely with the store manager to maximize results through visual merchandising. He will make visually inspiring floor plans by interpreting company guidelines and effectively translating them into the store.
THE DETAILS:
You’ll be joining our St. Laurent team, at 4428 St-Laurent Boulevard, in a full-time capacity
You’ll carry out seasonal plans to create stores that are visually inspiring
You’ll follow and execute visual directives from Head Office
You’ll drive sales through efficient merchandising
You’ll verify and understand floor model transfers and stock adjustments
You’ll be responsible for daily checking of RIR, Sharepoint, WPM and emails for updates
You’ll work with the store manager and regional visual coordinator to adjust the floor plan to drive sales based on data and good reasoning
You’ll follow current corporate guidelines and trends in visual merchandising
You’ll replenish stock as needed
You’ll coordinate staff support when needed through the store manager
You’ll help with store renovations and special projects as needed
You’ll collaborate with the assistant manager to supervise the maintenance of the sales floor
You’ll assist with all aspects of pricing showroom (regular tagging, sales, price reductions, etc)
You’ll set up promotional signage on time
You’ll communicate necessary ideas / adjustments to regional visual coordinator
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
Certificate or diploma in a field related to design or at least 2 years of merchandising experience
Proficiency in operating systems including sales terminal and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of AutoCAD is an asset
Ability to read and understand floor plans
Detail-oriented approach to all aspects of the job
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask
Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders to perform work at elevated heights
Comfortable using tools such as a drill, hammer, level, etc. Electrical / wiring skills are an asset
Ability to patch walls and paint
Ability to work individually and in a collaborative team environment
