About the role:
We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to own and scale Wallarm’s presence
across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, Reddit, and emerging tech/discovery
platforms. This is a hands-on, strategic role embedded in the growth
team—focused on turning content, campaigns, and insights into reach, engagement,
and high-quality traffic that fuels Product Qualified Leads (PQLs), Digital
Pipeline Qualified Leads (DPQLs), and brand affinity across the buyer journey.
You’ll work closely with Product Marketing, Design, Growth, and SEO to amplify
content, create social-native assets, and support digital experiments. Over
time, this role can evolve into a Social and Community Lead with ownership of
team, tooling, and performance across channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Execution
-
Own Wallarm’s social media roadmap across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Reddit, and
other relevant discovery channels.
-
Create and schedule high-performing content aligned to product milestones,
thought leadership, SEO, and growth campaigns.
-
Develop a distinct brand voice and narrative that balances technical
credibility, value delivery, and engagement.
-
Design or brief visuals, clips, carousels, and memes that make technical
topics scroll-stopping.
Growth & Distribution
-
Run experiments to test virality, format performance, tone, and
timing—optimize for reach, engagement, clicks, and conversions.
-
Distribute product content (e.g., new features, changelogs, PG/Playground
demos) in ways that drive usage and self-serve interest.
-
Engage with influencers, developer/security communities, and ecosystem
partners to expand reach.
-
Support competitive and outbound campaigns with social targeting and
positioning.
Measurement & Reporting
-
Track KPIs including reach, engagement, CTRs, traffic, follower growth, and
campaign impact on PQLs/DPQLs.
-
Use tools like LinkedIn Analytics, X analytics, GA4, Hubspot, and Metabase to
report on social performance.
-
Regularly synthesize learnings and trends to inform content strategy,
creative direction, and channel investment.
Leadership & Collaboration
-
Collaborate with product marketing, SEO, and demand gen to ensure alignment
and amplification of major initiatives.
-
Lay the foundation for social ops at Wallarm: content calendars, asset
workflows, templates, and tooling.
-
Lead contractors, freelancers, or agency partners as needed for scaling
content or campaign support.
Must-Have Skills:
-
3–5+ years of experience managing social media for B2B SaaS, developer tools,
cybersecurity, or technical products.
-
Strong copywriting and storytelling skills—especially for short-form,
high-context formats.
-
Understanding of social media trends, engagement psychology, and
channel-native content strategies.
-
Experience turning product, technical, and SEO-driven content into engaging
social narratives.
-
Data-driven mindset with ability to test, learn, and optimize.
-
Comfortable working independently, owning both execution and strategy in a
fast-paced environment.
-
Strong verbal and written English
Nice-to-Have Skills:
-
Experience in cybersecurity, PLG SaaS, or targeting technical personas.
-
Ability to repurpose or script short-form video, demo clips, or product
explainers.
-
Familiarity with LLM-powered content generation or social automation tools.
-
Previous work on memes, community virality, or niche Twitter/X audience
growth.
What We Offer:
-
A growth-critical role shaping Wallarm’s voice and reach in a high-intent,
technical market.
-
Fully remote, async-friendly culture.
-
Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses
-
Paid days off.
-

-
Room to grow into a team lead or community + content hybrid role.
-
The chance to experiment with bold ideas, move fast, and see your work
directly impact revenue and reach.
