Job Description:
Are you ready to lead with impact? We're looking for a dynamic and driven Team Lead who thrives on empowering others and turning challenges into opportunities. Responsibilities:
Lead a team of 2 – 4 developers, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure high-quality outcomes
Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using software development best practices
Collaborate with architects, UX designers, and product owners to ensure the best outcomes and experience for our customers and users
Contribute to architecture decisions and ensure scalable and maintainable code
Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
Work on bug fixes and resolve production issues
Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on business and technical needs
Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into our product and processes as appropriate
Promote development best practices, including code reviews and test-driven development
Requirements & Skills:
5+ years backend experience with C# and ASP.NET
1 - 2 years leading people
Frontend experience with HTML, CSS, and Javascript frameworks such as React
Experience developing and using REST APIs
Experience interfacing with relational databases using SQL Server
Experience leading or mentoring developers in a collaborative environment
Experience working in a Scrum or Agile environment
Experience with Azure
Writing robust and testable code
Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process
Understanding of Atlassian products such as: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.
Creative problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Experience with secure coding practices and performance diagnosis and optimizations preferred
This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule - KEV Group employees will be expected to go into the office 3 days per week, in either our North York or Cambridge location.
