This is your opportunity to sell unforgettable experiences at Sutter Health Park, home to both the River Cats and Major League Baseball’s Athletics during their historic stay in Sacramento. As a Group Sales AE, you’ll be responsible for creating and executing group outings, theme nights, and hospitality events that bring communities, schools, nonprofits, and businesses together. You’ll be equipped with cutting-edge sales tools, mentorship from industry leaders, and the backing of the Sacramento Kings family, giving you the resources to grow your career in sports business. What You’ll Do Sell group tickets, hospitality packages, and fundraising experiences for River Cats and Athletics games, with the ability to sell full menu including premium and season tickets. Build relationships with schools, youth sports leagues, faith-based groups, nonprofits, and community organizations. Create customized group experiences that deliver unreasonable hospitality and lasting memories. Use Salesforce CRM and cutting-edge AI-powered tools to manage pipelines, track outreach, and optimize performance. Represent the River Cats and Athletics at games, networking events, and community functions. Collaborate with teammates to hit individual and team sales goals. Lead and manage in-game group events to ensure a seamless experience for clients. What We’re Looking For Passion for people, events, and creating memorable experiences. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Self-starter with a team-first mentality and a desire to grow. Comfortable using technology and open to learning new tools. Previous hospitality, sales or customer service experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Why Join the River Cats? Compensation & Perks This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt role with an expected annual base pay of $35,360 plus overtime, bonus and commissions. Final offers will be made within the parameters of the salary range provided. Years of experience, skills, and other factors such as location are considered when determining the salary offered.
