Job Description Job Description and Responsibilities Update and maintain Quality System Records Lead/review revisions of all site QA documents and analyze procedures/forms Deliver Quality Awareness training to new employees as needed Organize and engage in external/internal QMS audits Lead change management initiatives and conduct risk assessments as needed Ensure non-conformances are appropriately managed and resolved Ensure material is released for shipping in a timely manner, request chemical and mechanical testing as needed, and navigate all software packages related to certification Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or in a related field Minimum of five (5) years’ experience working in materials/industrial/chemical/quality engineering Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; ability to learn other software applications Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact with individuals at various levels within the organization. Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities and work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail, close observation, and concentration skills. Strong communication and time management skills. Knowledge of steel processes and tubular products is preferred. Knowledge of ISO 9001-based quality systems.
