Marketing Lead – Insurance (B2B)
Lead B2B and B2C marketing campaigns in the insurance industry. Hybrid role with strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and digital execution. Exposure to multiple business units in a fast-paced environment.
What is in it for you:
• Salaried: $50-56 per hour.
• Incorporated Business Rate: $57-63 hour.
• 7-month contract.
• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
• Hybrid model – 2 days per week on-site, subject to change.
Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary operational contact for ad-hoc print jobs submitted via the W2P Central storefront.
• Provide expert advice on print specifications, job routing, and design optimization to reduce costs and improve turnaround times.
• Manage job tracking, routing, production, and delivery, ensuring SLA compliance and complete documentation (invoices, proofs, audit data).
• Handle exceptions, escalations, and reprints, coordinating with engineering and operations teams as needed.
• Liaise with third-party print service providers to ensure timely delivery and quality standards are met.
• Support onboarding and training for new client users as the platform “power user.”
• Monitor platform performance, usage trends, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain strong relationships across client and internal teams while translating client needs into actionable job requirements.
• Support regulated client requirements such as inventory tracking, audit trail completion, and document archiving.
• Participate in service quality reviews, platform updates, and process improvement initiatives.
What you will need to succeed:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in a marketing, communications, or project management role.
• Insurance or financial services experience preferred.
• B2B (or broker) marketing experience an asset.
• 5+ years of experience in the print industry across digital, litho, and direct mail production.
• Strong knowledge of print production workflows and multi-vendor environments.
• Experience using Web-to-Print platforms (e.g., PrintGizmo, DHCPS W2P, XMPie, WebCRD).
• Proficiency with Print MIS and invoicing systems, including SAP.
• Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytic skills.
• Strong project coordination and time management skills in fast-paced, ad-hoc environments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent print jobs and adapt to shifting priorities.
• High attention to detail in data, document quality, and brand compliance.
• Ability to evaluate installations and production quality on-site.
• Strong customer relationship and stakeholder communication abilities.
• Strong stakeholder management and teamwork skills.
• Resourceful, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a number of competing priorities.
• Working knowledge of tax compliance for printed communications (an asset).
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, walk a campus environment, climb ladders, and assess installation sites.
• Professional appearance and demeanor appropriate for client-facing engagements.
