Junior Web Facilitator - Student Work Study job opportunities open to full-time Fanshawe College students who qualify for the Work Study Bursary program.
This opportunity is supported through The Work Study Employment Program, which is designed to provide work opportunities to Fanshawe College full-time post-secondary or post diploma students with a demonstrated financial need.

•Students at Fanshawe College must be a full-time registered student, and meet financial needs assessment criteria
*International Student must have a valid Work permit.
•Must be in good academic standing according to program requirements.

Junior Web Facilitator
The Junior Web Facilitator (Work Study) plays a key role in supporting the Fanshawe Student Union’s online presence by assisting with website updates, social media monitoring, and digital communication initiatives. This student role is ideal for someone with a passion for web development, content management, and student engagement.
This is a part-time Work Study position available to full-time Fanshawe College students approved for the Work Study program.
Job Duties
Assist with day-to-day updates and maintenance of the FSU website.
Monitor FSU’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter), providing weekly statistics and insights.
Support the development and distribution of digital newsletters.
Contribute to social media strategies by executing student-focused engagement initiatives.
Create and share digital content that highlights FSU news, events, photos, and student life.
Repost and amplify relevant content shared by students, staff, faculty, and community partners.
Develop and deploy student surveys to gather feedback and present findings through visual data tools.
Collaborate with the Communications Team to support website and content-related projects.
Perform other duties as assigned to support FSU digital and communication goals.
Requirements
Must be a full-time Fanshawe College student approved for the Work Study program.
Experience with web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, PHP, and ASP.
Basic knowledge of databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server) considered an asset.
Proficiency with Photoshop or other image-editing software.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Reliable and consistent attendance record.
