Job Summary:
G+D Mobile Security is seeking a Datagen Engineer with the ability to work in a fast, dynamic, and technical environment with strong attention to detail. The Datagen Engineer’s job is a technical job to manage day-to-day profile generation in the Mobile Security (MS) data center. This includes supervise, support and follow-up on issues related to daily business around data generation; mange service requests, changes, incident and problem resolutions; and facilitation of second line support as needed.
The DataGen Engineer’s main responsibilities are to provide the adequate data in the right formats to corresponding G+D stakeholders and ensure accurate execution of the data generation processes.
On a daily basis, the Datagen Engineer will utilize the Identity Service Platform (IDSP) application developed in house for profile generation and monitoring orders status for telecom clients and Mobile Network Operator (MNO) clients. Additionally the Datagen engineer may be expected to manage production data translation and send to client via EDI\GenTran\Systline system.
Essential Functions:
Accurate execution of the data generation processes
Provide data in the right formats to the corresponding G+D stakeholders
Utilize G+D software to generate, process, manage and transfer data for release sample and personalization.
Follow Mobile Security global policies, procedures and tools
Take accountability and responsibility towards assigned process roles
Project engagement
Time objective: Spend of budgeted time on planned tasks plus timely and accurate time reporting
First level support and troubleshooting of issues related to the daily business in data generation
Coordinate activities between customers and internal resolver groups as well as external parties.
Resolve incidents with support from Profile Engineers and Application Engineers
Documentation (project specific and internal) of end-to-end solution
Support Datagen Manager with information to be used in capacity planning.
Meet SLA targets and profile generation KPIs
Use Splunk dashboards to track orders and troubleshooting on daily bases.
Identify and address day to day continuous improvement activities towards Regional Service Quality Manager and/or supervisor for further action, related to tools, procedures and compliance fulfilment
Other potential duties
Utilize Infor SyteLine EDI interface with Sterling's GENTRAN translator to send and receive EDI communication, including PO Acknowledgments, EDI advance shipment notices, requesting IF via EDI.
Translate client response data generated by profile generation tools to Infor Syteline EDI messages and sending to ERP (SAP) system.
Trouble shooting EDI Inbound and outbound transmission Errors
Education and Experience:
University degree in Computer Science, IT or related technical/engineering field and 2+ years of experience in similar position (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Technical experience in data generation or similar experience
Experience in MS Office programs
Knowledge of database systems, such as MS SQL Server, preferably Oracle
Firsthand experience in Splunk, with knowledge of Splunk query language is an asset.
Experience in Docker with hands on knowledge of creating, updating and scaling docker and microservices applications is an asset.
Experience in Kubernetes clusters at Enterprise level is an asset.
Experience with Infor SyteLine EDI ERP system and GENTRAN translator is an asset
Experience in incident and problem resolution as well as changes is preferred
Experience in installation, configuration, troubleshooting and integration of software solutions is preferred
Preferably Telecommunications industry experience
Preferably experience with working across diverse cultures
Preferably some experience with file transfer systems like SFTP\MFT
Preferably experience in working with automation/scripting related to software applicationKnowledge Skills and Abilities
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge in usage of systen software of data generation
Knowledge of relevant market technologies in secure environments is preferable
Service specific knowledge related to telecommunication and OEM solutions is preferable
Knowledge of ITIL processes and Service Management preferable
Ability to work under pressure and flexible to changes
Highly organized and quality conscious

Ability to follow given processes, procedures and work instructions
Fluent written and spoken English
Ability to work flexible hours and occasional weekends to support business needs.
Minimum 3 days per week in the office with ability to extend to 5 days as business requires
