We are currently hiring multiple full-time, permanent positions for Engineering Candidates in various departments across our Barrie, Bracebridge, Collingwood and Guelph locations.

Duties will vary based on the department but in general you will:
Assist with the design and implementation of coastal, water resources, municipal infrastructure or land development projects including shoreline protection structures, storm and sanitary sewers, stormwater management systems and infrastructure, watermains, site servicing, lot grading, urban roads and parking lots
Prepare design calculations, report writing, project coordination and management
Prepare submissions and applications for required approvals as well as prepare cost estimates, tender documents, specifications and construction contract documents
Conduct construction inspection and assist with contract administration, including preparation of requests for quotation, contract change orders and proper invoices
Interact with client and external parties as required for project needs
Key Position Requirements
Degree in an Engineering program
Meet the requirements of PEO as a candidate for becoming a professional engineer in the Province of Ontario and be committed to following the PEO Competency Based Assessment program
Working towards P.Eng. designation is preferred
Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant engineering experience (co-op experience included)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent technical and analytical skills
Enthusiasm to work in a team structure and a willingness to help and collaborate with others
Working knowledge of appropriate design and analysis software
Full knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Understanding of relevant legislation, guidelines and standards
Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
