We have a great opportunity for a Manager, Commercial Property Administration who will oversee leasing and management of a portfolio of properties, which all have 3rd party property managers. The position also approves annual budgeting and reviews of financial statements prepared by the various property managers (“PM”). The Manager, Commercial Property Administration also oversees leasing activity, mortgage renewals and new financings and implementing value added activities in an effort to improve the overall performance of the properties.
Primary Accountabilities:
Property Management:
Oversees the Property Managers to ensure proper maintenance and operation of the properties
Approving annual financial budgets
Review monthly financials.
Insurance
Emergency services
Mortgage renewals
Leasing:
Review and approval of all lease applicants
Approve 3rd party leasing agents
Marketing materials
Tenant satisfaction
Tenant Improvements:
Construction budgets
Pro forma profit projections
Contract Work:
Approve maintenance contracts before PM signs
Property Management contracts
Lease and Lease Amending documents
Analysis:
Overall performance of the property vs market
Leasing activity
Lease rates
Monthly reporting
Qualifications and Experience:
Diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution.
Minimum of 3- 5 years of related work experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Superior interpersonal and customer service skills.
Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines, while handling multiple demands and competing priorities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion.
Detail orientated.
Computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, MS Word and Excel.
