The Opportunity:

In business for 37 years, PBS is the third largest DMS (Dealership Management System) provider to the North American retail automotive industry. Each month we welcome hundreds of new users to our software platform, and we need your help.

The Role:
The Purchasing Administrator plays a key role within the administration team, supporting daily operations and contributing to various projects. This position is responsible for coordinating purchasing activities, processing sales and installation orders, and managing shipping and receiving tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
This position is based at our Calgary headquarters and may occasionally require time at our secondary Calgary location (Tech Centre). Please note that this is an on-site role and not eligible for remote work.
Duties and Responsibilities
Processing Orders
PO Creation
Maintaining relationships with Vendors/Manufacturers
Keeping up stock inventory for all 4 offices
Coordinating with other departments to have all hardware ordered and delivered to site before tech installation
Purchasing Licenses for customers as well as all internal licenses needed
Data Entry - order configurations, extended warranties, new client set up and lock code updates
Acquiring quotes on a regular basis
Shipping/Receiving
Qualifications
High School Diploma
1-2 years of previous purchasing and office experience preferred
Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced team environment
Fast learner with an aptitude for technical specifications
Strong attention to detail
Solid computer knowledge Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with various software
