Role Overview
Reporting to the Team Lead of Managed Services, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that WCD customers consistently receive high-quality products and exceptional service. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to excellence—getting things right the first time, every time—are key attributes that will drive success in this role.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide backup support for key roles within our client environment
Training provided to cover all WCD positions at multiple locations across Calgary, with some locations requiring print, mailroom, and reception services
Off customer interactions, both over the phone and in person, that is courteous and results-oriented to meet the customer's need
Print Services
Order entry, project planning, assessment, and billing of orders completed in a timely fashion, following established policies and procedures
Production of printed documents (black and white, large format, and fully colour projects) are conducted in a way that utilizes the right materials to produce a high-quality result
Proactive management of projects that are done onsite as well as projects sent to the main plant, ensuring delivery is on schedule
Mail Services
Sort and distribute intercompany mail throughout the site
Track incoming/outgoing shipments as required
Delivery copy paper and stationery orders
Reception
Answer calls and maintain a rapid response rate according to agreed standards
File data and perform other routine clerical tasks as assigned and for other departments as needed
Order and maintain relevant office supplies
Operate a variety of standard office machines, including a computer, variety of computer software, and phone
Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or GED
Post-secondary education in a related field is considered an asset
Skills and Experience
A solid understanding of computers and office equipment
Ability to adapt to changing environments, work with a variety of people, and have the flexibility to cover various positions on short notice
Previous print production experience is considered an asset
Knowledge of the Adobe CS Suite is considered an asset
Strong ability to remain organized and manage multiple projects and duties
Consistent attention to detail
Written and verbal fluency in English
Exceptional customer service ethic that is displayed in the passion for the work
Desire to perform different functions daily as required
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
