Tinhorn Creek Vineyards, located on the renowned Golden Mile Bench in Oliver, British Columbia, is seeking dedicated individuals to join our 2025 harvest team. With a production facilities processing approximately 450 tonnes of grapes, this is an excellent chance to gain valuable winemaking experience in a dynamic environment.

Position Overview
As a Vintage Cellar Hand, you will play a key role in our harvest team, gaining hands-on experience across the Crush Pad, Cellars, and Barrel Cellar. This seasonal role requires availability for up to six days a week, with shifts of up to 12 hours per day (day or night shift rotation). The harvest season runs from late August to mid-November, with exact dates to be confirmed.
What You’ll Do
Operate equipment to receive, sort, and press grapes.
Perform essential winemaking tasks, including racking, inoculations, transferring, blending, and fermentation monitoring.
Conduct punch downs, pump overs, and dig outs.
Assist with barrel work, such as filling, fermenting, racking, sampling, and topping.
Clean and sanitize winery equipment to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Follow standard operating procedures to ensure exceptional wine quality.

What We’re Looking For
Previous vineyard or harvest experience is an asset, but enthusiastic first-time candidates are welcome!
Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Dependable, hands-on, and safety-conscious.
Ability to lift 22 kg (48 lbs) regularly.
Available for 12-hour shifts (day or night) throughout the harvest season.
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada. International applicants must be able to obtain a Canadian working visa on their own.
