POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Admissions & Marketing Director, the Admissions Advisor is the first point of contact between LaSalle College Vancouver and prospective students. This role is responsible for student recruitment by guiding and advising candidates throughout the admissions process, promoting academic programs, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The position also provides support to the Marketing Team as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as an advisor to candidates wishing to enroll in our programs of study;
Achieve the objectives set for student recruitment;
Provide information to prospective students about programs offered by phone, email or in person;
Conduct reminders and ensure personalized follow-up with candidates to facilitate their registration, by updating the customer relationship management (CRM) system;
Actively participate in school visits, open houses, career fairs, virtual workshops, etc.;
Promote programs and act as an ambassador to students;
Collaborate with program managers to evaluate candidates' files according to admission criteria, requirements and quotas;
Analyze the educational backgrounds, diplomas and experiences of the candidates, and submit the files requiring verification for decision.
Assisting in coordinating and executing events with the Marketing Team.
Assisting with email and SMS journeys for prospective leads i.e. (sending an SMS to all RSVPs that did not attend open house).
Assisting with nurture optimization.
Maintain marketing inventory and oversee the check-in system for marketing materials to ensure stock levels are accurately tracked and consistently monitored.
Assist the content team with social media tasks as needed.
Assisting with processing applications from the Offshore India Team.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Hold a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC);
Minimum of one year of experience in consulting or sales;
Fluency in the English language (oral and written);
Proficiency in the other language at a professional level (oral and written) will be an advantage.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Proficiency in computer tools, including MS Office suite;
Excellent communication and customer service skills;
Organizational skills and effective management of priorities;
Proactivity and autonomy in the performance of tasks;
Represent the College at recruitment events;
Act as the College's representative to internal and external partners.
