Position Overview:
Algo is an innovative technology company manufacturing and supplying audio and video communication products to our global customers. We work with some of the largest technology companies in the world to make industrial communication safe, simple, and effective. We are looking for a talented, energetic individual with a passion for marketing, growth, and communications to join our growing team in Burnaby, B.C as a Marketing Communications Specialist.
We’re looking for a versatile marketing professional who can lead and execute integrated campaigns across email, ads, video, social media, and channel marketing. You’ll play a hands-on role in creating content, coordinating distribution across key channels, and developing sales enablement materials. This is a highly collaborative role that requires both strategic thinking and strong execution skills, from concept development to final delivery, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Note: This role requires content creation. You will be expected to write, structure, and execute marketing materials independently from beginning to end.
Responsibilities:
Content Distribution & Campaign Coordination
Manage and execute Salesforce email marketing campaigns, including content drafting, template development, and performance tracking.
Coordinate and optimize paid advertising campaigns (SEM), ensuring alignment between ad messaging and organic content strategies.
Own the strategy, scheduling, and execution of social media content across platforms like LinkedIn and YouTube.
Support the creation of short-form and educational videos, including storyboarding, scripting, and coordinating production.
Support and maintain Amazon product listings, including descriptions and content updates to drive visibility and conversions.
Track and analyze engagement metrics, adjusting strategy to improve performance.
Sales Enablement Content
Develop marketing content to support sales efforts, including PowerPoint decks, cheat sheets, one-pagers, and presentation materials.
Collaborate with internal teams to create or update brochures, flyers, email templates, and distributor-facing marketing content.
Repurpose content into various formats (e.g., turning blog content into pitch decks or campaign assets).
Ensure all sales enablement materials reflect current messaging, product capabilities, and brand strategy.
Maintain an organized repository of sales and marketing content for easy access by GTM teams.
Marketing Support for Distributors
Support distributor and channel marketing programs, including co-branded initiatives and partner communications.
Write and develop content tailored to reseller or distributor campaigns.
Assist in campaign performance analysis and recommend improvements based on engagement metrics
and partner feedback.
Qualifications:
3–5 years of experience in B2B marketing or content-focused roles
Excellent writing and editing skills. Must be able to craft content independently.
Hands-on experience with:
Email platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
Social tools (e.g., Hootsuite, LinkedIn)
Paid media and SEO tools (e.g., Google Ads, SEMrush)
Video tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere is a plus)
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
Collaborative mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects across teams
