Overview
As a valuable member of the Housekeeping team, you will deliver championship service throughout the organization. Under the direction of the Assistant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the cleanliness of the Facility and its grounds. This is an hourly based position and shifts are on a, per event/as needed basis.
This role pays an hourly rate of $17.20 CAD - $17.80 CAD (per CBA).
Benefits as per the union agreement.
This position will remain open until October 31, 2025.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the cleanliness of all common areas, meeting rooms and dressing rooms within the facility
Ability to read, understand and follow all WHIMS guidelines
Ability to work quickly and efficiently during and after Events, exceeding the clients cleaning needs
Ensure work areas and equipment are clean and organized at all times
Work diligently to ensure the safety of self and others at all times
Adhere to OVG service standards and policies
Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Available to work the overnight shift, weekends and holidays with some flexibility for late afternoon shifts
Previous experience in Housekeeping and the use of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, auto-scrubbers and swing machines
Ability to work while under pressure; meet tight deadlines
Must be able to bend, stretch and move, in repetitive motions
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
