Your mission:
The primary responsibility of the Mill Coordinator is to ensure the safe and efficient operations of the mill. The Mill Coordinator is a shift supervisor responsible for supervising the fibreline and machine room operations personnel as well as shift trades.
Ensuring the safe and efficient operations of the mill.
Completing and recording safety observations.
Supervision of shift personnel to ensure the optimum operation of the Kraft Mill.
Overseeing training and development of the Kraft Mill crews utilizing the mill’s competency-based training system to ensure proper performance.
Developing and maintaining relationships with crew members, as well as other departmental management and staff.
Working as part of a team to actively pursue methods for the ongoing improvement of mill operations.
Emergency scheduling of workforce.
Your profile:
Direct fibreline/pulp machine operational experience in a kraft pulp mill (similar manufacturing experience will be considered).
Relevant education would be considered an asset, including a Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degree.
Supervisory experience in an industrial setting and demonstrated leadership ability.
Strong technical, analytical, and computer skills.
Ability to work as part of a team with all levels of the organization.
Possess a desire to progress, learn, and succeed.
