The Netcracker Application Specialist is responsible for the administration,
configuration, and support of the Netcracker OSS/BSS suite, ensuring seamless
integration with business processes and delivering continuous improvements in
system performance, availability, and functionality. This role serves as a key
liaison between technical teams, business users, and external vendors to ensure
optimal use and evolution of the Netcracker platform in line with organizational
goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Configure, customize, and support Netcracker OSS/BSS modules including Order
Management, Inventory Management, Service Fulfillment, and Billing.
- Monitor application health and performance; identify, diagnose, and resolve
application-related issues promptly.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and
translate them into technical specifications.
- Participate in system upgrades, patch management, and release deployments,
ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Support system integration efforts between Netcracker and other enterprise
systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, network management tools).
- Analyze and optimize application workflows to improve user experience and
operational efficiency.
- Provide Level 2/3 support for incidents and service requests related to the
Netcracker platform.
- Work closely with Netcracker vendor support for issue resolution and change
requests.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures,
and user guides.
- Assist in user training and onboarding related to Netcracker systems and
tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
Telecommunications, or related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience supporting or implementing Netcracker
OSS/BSS applications.
- Solid understanding of telecom business processes (order to cash, service
provisioning, customer lifecycle management).
- Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL), UNIX/Linux
environments, and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with integration technologies such as SOAP/REST APIs, XML, and
middleware platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a
fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of ITIL practices and experience using ITSM tools (e.g.,
ServiceNow, Remedy).
- Experience with network inventory and resource modeling within Netcracker.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Ansible) is
a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and
non-technical teams.
