Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
The Senior Manager, Sourcing Systems & Process represents Arc’teryx Sourcing,
Supply Planning, & Decoration Services business needs in cross-functional
systems implementation projects that could impact Sourcing & Supply Planning
processes. As the lead for Sourcing / Supply Planning on digital transformation
projects, you will provide department-specific systems requirements, work with
consultants and the overall company to identify best in class solutions,
coordinate departmental work for the project, provide input on whether proposed
solutions meet needs, and coordinate testing and implementation of the new
systems solution(s).
This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and possible in a hybrid
work environment. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
Meet your future team:
The Sourcing Systems & Process team partners closely with various parts of the
business to initiate, manage, and provide oversight of digitalization
initiatives that enable Sourcing to elevate and achieve its strategic goals and
objectives. This role serves as the connector between business and technical
teams, translating business requirements into technical requirements and vice
versa. The Sr. Manager, Sourcing Systems & Process will work with internal and
external cross-functional groups to ideate, design, and deliver a variety of
end-to-end business system and process solutions. We connect strategy to
execution by leading a portfolio of digital project initiatives that directly
work to achieve the company’s vision and goals.

If you were the Senior Manager, Sourcing Systems & Process, here are some of the
core activities you would be doing:
- Representing Sourcing & Supply Planning teams throughout each stage of the
systems & process projects, from Business Requirement Documentation through
testing to go-live
- Driving the overall business readiness prior to project go-live on behalf of
the Sourcing teams
- Identifying where there are gaps between business requirements and
process/system design, and leading the evaluation of potential solutions to
address those gaps as needed
- Acting as the point of contact and representative of Sourcing teams to ensure
that their needs are considered end-to-end across the systems & processes
implemented
- Ensuring best practices and process optimization are built at the design
stage for future enhancements focused on long term scale, not short-term
benefit
- Documenting, directly and indirectly, the current and future state of all
business processes affected by systems projects at hand
- Identifying operational changes between current state and future state
processes, and leading and coordinating the process/system change within the
internal departments to ensure successful implementation
- Acting as the Sourcing team business partner for all other departments
involved to drive a common business design and data consistency
- Communicating the end-state consistently to the project team and notify
project leadership of any challenges to the plan
- Holding stakeholders (at all levels) accountable to committed timelines and
deliverables
- Develops and maintains a healthy and effective working relationship with
Supply Chain leaders for ongoing collaboration on process changes and
improvements
- Builds and develops a high performing team providing clear guidance on tasks
and priorities, mentorship, and inspiration in driving their career forward

Are you our next Senior Manager, Sourcing Systems & Process?
- You have a Bachelor's degree, ideally in Supply Chain and / or Project
Management
- You have 8+ years experience working in sourcing and/or supply chain related
roles, with at least 2 in a leadership role
- You have proven experience in leading ERP implementations (preferably SAP),
Sourcing / Supply Chain systems transformations, and process improvements
- You have your Project Management Professional (PMP) certification as a plus
- You have a strong knowledge of Supply Chain principles
- You have strong understanding of Sourcing / Planning processes, supply chain
processes, including but not limited to procurement, Long Range / Short Range
Planning, and other related business processes and can effectively transfer
this knowledge to less senior members of the team
- You are a great communicator, both verbal and written, with the ability to
effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical
stakeholders.
- You have proven experience in stakeholder management and building
relationships across departments in all levels of the organization.
- You have the ability to think strategically and align Supply Chain & adjacent
systems and transformation initiatives with organization goals and objectives
- You are experienced in developing and executing strategic plans for Supply
Chain systems optimization and innovation and can do this independently
- You can formulate and drive actions for your department to achieve your
team’s vision and goals independently
- You are adaptable and a forward-thinker, while making sure that your team
understands the why behind the departmental objectives and any changes from
it as required
- You are invested in developing your team members to harness their potentials
that they wouldn’t be able to do on their own
- You have strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
for you and your team
- You have experience in developing reports for analysis and decision-making,
with a strong aptitude for spreadsheets and visual diagrams (e.g.,
flowcharts, PowerPoint presentations, etc.)
- You can effectively influence actions from stakeholders at all levels
- You are proficient in project management methodologies and tools, with a
track record of successfully leading complex projects from initiation to
completion within budget and timeline constraints
- You have a drive to learn and participate and are willing to stay updated on
emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in financial systems and
transformation.

$140,000 - $172,000 a year
A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$140,000 - CAD$172,000 at the time
of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such
as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training. The upper
end of the range is typically reserved for candidates with demonstrated
expertise that is above job requirements or who bring exceptional directly
transferable experience.
