Position Overview: About The Role: • Product Development Support: Assist in managing the development of cut and sew knit styles from initial concept to reference sample, ensuring adherence to design vision, product integrity, and seasonal timelines. • Cross-functional Collaboration: Support communication between Design, Merchandising, Patternmaking, Sourcing, and Quality to ensure alignment and clarity at all product checkpoints. • Tech Pack and BOM Creation: Build and maintain tech packs, bills of materials, and construction details for all RTW knit styles, ensuring accuracy and consistency across updates. • Sample Management: Track prototypes, sales samples, and development submissions; liaise with mills and vendors to manage timelines, resolve issues, and ensure delivery. • Fitting and Garment Review: Attend fittings with the Senior Product Developer and Design team, document fit notes and garment corrections, and follow up with updated specs and vendor communication. • Vendor Coordination: Maintain daily communication with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure design intent, material usage, and construction methods are understood and executed properly. • Fabric & Trim Research: Assist with sourcing of knit fabrics and trims; organize submissions and maintain up-to-date fabric libraries and vendor reference materials. • Calendar Management: Update development calendars and sample status trackers; raise flags when timelines are at risk and propose solutions to keep development on schedule. • Innovation & Sustainability: Keep informed of industry developments, sustainable material options, and construction innovations relevant to cut and sew knits. Support R&D and testing initiatives. • PLM & Systems Management: Enter and maintain accurate product data in PLM and other internal systems to ensure full transparency and data integrity across teams. About You: 1–3 years of experience in product development, ideally in luxury or contemporary RTW apparel with a focus on cut and sew knits Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Science, Product Development, or related field Knowledge of knit fabrications (jersey, rib, fleece etc.), garment construction, and sewing techniques for stretch fabrics Familiarity with PLM systems, Adobe Illustrator, Excel, and Microsoft Office suite Basic understanding of costing, patternmaking, and global production cycles Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills Enthusiasm for RTW, product development, and luxury fashion Collaborative and solution-oriented with a strong team mindset Eagerness to learn and take initiative under the guidance of senior team members High level of accountability and ownership over assigned tasks Committed to quality, precision, and product excellence Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities What’s in it For You?
