The operations team for major legacy IT systems and services, with the collaboration of Kyndryl, ensures that our core infrastructure services (z/OS), HPE NonStop, AS/400, AIX and Solaris meet Desjardins Group requirements for stability, security, resilience, optimization and transformation aimed at ensuring critical system availability. As an IT Recovery Advisor, you’ll be responsible for the strategic coordination of traditional and isolated IT recovery activities (approximately 15 tests/year), in partnership with our external service provider and internal teams, to ensure operational continuity and resilience. You’ll also be responsible for representing the department before the authorities on matters related to IT resilience. More specifically, you will be required to: Diagnose and analyze the issues, challenges, needs, problems and corrective measures related to IT service continuity to determine target outcomes for recovery exercises. Develop, plan and coordinate IT recovery exercises in partnership with internal and external stakeholders. Define objectives, scenarios and criteria for success. Follow up as needed to solve more complex or unusual problems that arise during recovery testing. Develop objectives, solutions and action plans. Actively help implement the plans. Analyze the results of the exercises, identify issues and opportunities for improvement. Make recommendations. Write detailed reports after exercises.
