Permanent Full Time - We are looking for a Senior Ford Specialist, Pension & Benefits The Senior Ford Specialist, Pension & Benefits is a unique opportunity to support the delivery of pension and benefit programs at Ford of Canada. This position is aligned to the Oakville Ford of Canada Head Office and the successful candidate will work on-site at the Ford location. What you will do: Provide the Ford of Canada Total Rewards team with support on all pension and benefit programs Answer employee inquiries on Ford’s pension and benefit programs Explain Ford’s pension and benefit programs to employees, provide employees with pension and benefits program documents Support pension and benefits onboarding and orientation for Ford’s new hires Support Ford employees with pension and benefits enrollments, updates, beneficiary changes, dependent changes, coverage changes, life events and other items Assist Ford employees with escalated claims issues or coverage inquiries, resolve issues as required Support Ford’s Wellbeing initiatives Liaise with Ford Canadian Headquarters HR staff on pension and benefits programs Other duties as assigned What you will bring: Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience in HR, benefits and/or pensions Experience supporting employees with pension or benefits inquiries, claims issues and/or benefits administration Ability to communicate complex topics in a clear and concise manner Strong customer service skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Experience handling sensitive employee data and maintaining confidentiality Experience working in a unionized environment and familiarity with collective bargaining agreements is an asset Familiarity with Defined Contribution pension plans and/or ASO healthcare benefits is an asset CEBS or equivalent designation is preferred, but not mandatory - The base salary for this position is between $56,000.00 - $83,900.00 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
