Role reports to: MANAGER ANALYTICAL Location: North America, Canada, Ontario, Guelph Work Location: Fully Onsite What you will do As a member of the Research & Development (R&D) Analytical team, this individual will provide support to the analytical laboratory. In this capacity, the student will support the ordering and receiving of laboratory supplies including various chemicals/reagents, filters, and other consumables. In addition the student will support general maintenance of lab areas, systems and equipment to ensure facilities remain in a compliant state acceptable to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and may assist with activities required for analytical testing of solid dose products. The student will also have opportunities to participate in and gain exposure to the R&D and Manufacturing Science & Technology (MS&T) activities which support the life cycle management (LCM) of over-the-counter (OTC) pharmaceutical products in the different global regions. Key Responsibilities Maintain equipment and lab in good order in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices. Handle disposition of chemical waste according to government regulations. Ensure integrity of laboratory glassware. Prepare various solutions for use in analytical testing. Assist with analytical and physical testing of solid dose products. Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all work performed. Miscellaneous tasks as required by project owners. What we are looking for Required Qualifications Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B status) Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program Eligible to complete an 8-month co-op term at our Kenvue, Guelph, manufacturing location.
