Collaborates with a cross-functional team of project management, technical, quality, finance and other key colleagues to prioritize sourcing initiatives, develops sourcing strategies, negotiates contracts, supports spend migration from incumbent to preferred suppliers, and manages preferred supplier relationships. What You Will Contribute: Team Collaboration Collaborate with the Marketing and Operations leadership to manage supply demands and inventory levels against the forecasts for standard product lines Work closely with the project teams to ensure material deliveries and sourced products are aligned to meet customer and quality expectations Actively participate in New Product Development & Introduction (NPDI) teams to help secure materials and vendor contracts Procurement Monitor market intelligence and key trends to refine buying plans to support business requirements Negotiate pricing and supply contracts to ensure fair market value while protecting the company’s interests Analyze supplier performance data, propose development plans, and communicate supplier scorecards Manage inflation, sourcing savings, and purchased-part variances (PPV) to ensure operational goals are achieved Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand Determine quantity and timing of deliveries to support project requirements Provide material delivery status to the Operations team, and issue Work Orders to the floor Manage and maintain supplier Non-Disclosure Agreements Continuous Improvement Our business is rapidly growing so it is vital that we continuously improve and advance the materials management processes and systems to achieve the best possible quality, reliability, prices, continuity, and delivery. How Will You Get Here?
