Job DescriptionPosition Summary Territory Sales Representative. You must have a proven track record of success with 3-5 years of solid sales experience. As a Territory Sales Representative you will be responsible for growing and maintaining in the designated geographical region of Ontario and are responsible for maintaining positive working relationships with all field Superintendents and managing the cabinetry portion of their job sites. This position will also be responsible for Field Measures, Quality Inspections, guiding Installations, and ensuring all jobs are serviced in a timely fashion to the customers’ satisfaction. You are responsible for developing and building relationships with new and existing customers to generate sales revenue. You possess the ability to achieve sales targets through effectively developing designated territory. Your results driven sales approach will actively seek out and engage customer prospects while balancing sales and service expectations.Organizational Relationship This position reports directly to the Sr Regional Sales Manager, EastAccountabilities Promote and sell our MasterBrand product portfolio following our strategic plan.Develop relationships with customer partners to establish long term relationships and identify new opportunities.Participate in strategic planning process, identifying, evaluating, and qualifying potential opportunities.Maintain and build strong customer relationships with existing and new customers.Meet/exceed territory budget requirements.Monitor and track performance of products, programs, and relationships, while measuring financial impact.Provide and train customers on detailed product, program, and pricing information.Continuously scan the market to stay current on industry trends and identify growth potential opportunities.Monitor competition by gathering market information and report as required.Provide necessary forecasting and reports in an accurate, timely manner.Manage sales funnel and prospecting assignments for assigned region/customers.Maintain call log accuracy and weekly/month reporting as required.Maintain positive working relationships with all field SuperintendentsReview and check services generated by CSR’s and Closure Coordinators for accuracyResponsible for ensuring all aspects of the job are satisfactory from initial ordering and install up until the closing of the homeManage installers and service tech performance reporting results to the installation managerWork with CSR’s/Closure Coordinators to ensure 1 in 30 metrics are maintained and we do not hold up homeowner walks or closingsWork with the Account Manager/Designers on correcting recurring design issuesPerform other duties as may be assigned at management’s discretion.QualificationsCharacteristics & Attributes Strong self/social confidence & tenacity; sets high personal standardsProfessional and persuasive communicator with ability to drive salesAbility to lead and influence others in a team environmentAbility to coach and counsel direct reportsStrong communication skills – verbal, written and presentationAnalytical and strategic planning skills; problem solvingStrong judgment and decision-making skillsFlexible; ability to adapt style/approach based on situational dynamicsCompetitive drive: strong desire to winUnderstanding of cabinetry installationsUnderstanding of new home construction and retail renovationsAbility to communicate with all varying levels of skilled tradesAbility to understand kitchen layouts and interpret design issues related to final installationAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusionsPossession of valid driver’s licenseEducation & Experience Post-secondary education in a business or related field is required5 to 8+ years’ experience in sales managementDemonstrated experience in successfully leading a sales teamAdditional InformationFor nearly 70 years, MasterBrand has been shaping the places where people come together, enriching lives and creating meaningful memories for our customers.
