Tâche principales: Diagnostiquer, désassembler et réparer les pompes submersibles électriques, les agitateurs, les pompes et les génératrices. Mettre en service, identifier et localiser les problèmes sur les panneaux de contrôle. Apporter de l’aide à la division Drainage dans la préparation des équipements ou sur le chantier. Experience requises: Vous détenez un diplôme technique en mécanique ou en électricité Cumuler de 1 à 2 années minimum d'expérience en réparation et en entretien d'équipement industriel serait un atout. Un permis de conduire valide est requis. ENGLISH VERSION We are currently looking for a Pump Mechanic for our Pointe-Claire, QC branch. THE ROLE: The Pump Mechanic will be responsible but not limited to dissembling / diagnosing / repairing / servicing of Flygt equipment. The Service Mechanic will at times assist with field work and also “On Call” for Emergency breakdowns – on a rotational basis. This is a unionized role. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Diagnosing, repairing, and servicing of Flygt and other similar Xylem equipment Dissembling Flygt equipment Assist with field work encompassing mechanical / electrical start-ups. Assist with “On Call” for Emergency breakdowns – on a rotational basis. Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from a community or technical college in an electrical or mechanical field preferred. 1 to 2 years minimum of experience in repairing and maintaining industrial equipment would be an asset. Valid driver’s license Electrical knowledge of PLC’s and electrical control panels will be a distinct benefit.
