This role is primarily focused on design, build and support of solutions relating to Applications and Mobile Device Management. This role is additionally responsible for Tier 2 Network & Infrastructure requests relating to the network & systems. This role reports to the Lead, Infrastructure Core & Solutions who provides guidance and direction on the day-to-day work assignments and projects as it pertains to systems.Responsibilities:Builds, designs and maintains technical solutions relating to Mobile Device Management, Application & OS Patching and software deployment, Clinical & Business Applications, Microsoft 365 and related services such as InTune.Completes Tier 2 Network & Infrastructure requests, including making changes and resolving issues relating to the network, Virtual Machines and associated applications, Active Directory domain, DNS, DHCP, Antivirus, LAN/WAN, corporate SAN, SSL certificates, patching Responsible for execution of projects related to IT infrastructure including physical deployment of hardware, configuration and deployment of new hardware, procurement activities, research and investigation into technical solutions, DR testingOversees and verifies monitoring of the infrastructure and security alerts by Junior Administrator, Infrastructure Core & Solutions and resolves identified & escalated issues Performs research on and recommends improvements to the operations of the network, infrastructure, and architecture Must be able to work occasional evenings, weekends and/or holidays, as coverage is requiredOther duties as assigned QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience in a Network and/or Systems Administrator or higher roleA Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Networking, Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent experienceCisco CCNA is a requirementStrong familiarity with Microsoft 365 Administration (including Entra and InTune), Mobile Device Management, Application & OS Patching and software deploymentFamiliarity with DNS, DHCP, Antivirus, LAN/WAN, and SAN equipmentFamiliarity with Windows Server Management, Active Directory structure, VoIP, Networking, Exchange, Scripting, PowerShellKnowledge of Linux/Unix server operating systems & virtualizationKnowledge of VMWare or similar virtualization toolsStrong research, critical thinking, and problem solving skillsKnowledge of and experience with multiple software and hardware products from vendors such as Microsoft, Cisco, and DellCertifications and/or formalized training in Windows Server, Active Directory, Cisco Networking, VMWare virtualizationSatisfactory Canadian Police Clearance document required upon hireAdditional InformationClosing Date: Until Filled Qualified applicants are invited to submit a detailed resume and cover letter.
