In this role, you’ll provide expert advice, drive continuous improvement, and embed a proactive safety culture across varied operational environments. You will: Be the key contact for HSW across assigned groups and regions Support risk and control management, action plans, and incident investigations Implement HSW policies and standards Deliver monthly performance reports and trend analysis Engage with internal teams and external partners to strengthen HSW practices Promote wellbeing programmes and initiatives across the organisation Travel to project sites in your region to engage with local teams and be an advisor You will find out more about the role here: Position Description You will find out more about the role here Position Description Ko koe tenei | About you You’ll bring: Subject matter expertise in Health, Safety and Wellbeing Experience with HSW management systems and safety investigations Experience in working with contractors and third parties Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills Ability to present at leadership meetings and influence decision-making A tertiary qualification in Occupational Health & Safety or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience Diploma or Certification in Health and Safety (or working towards it) You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Maori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Maori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of Te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public service.
