The Role
This position is responsible for providing ongoing technology support to Learning & Development and to all other Single Family lines of businesses. This position is also responsible to oversee and champion assigned projects and initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency and business units’ results, as well as overall customer experience, as they are impacted by Learning Technology.
Internal Training Consulting
Manage Learning & Development email inbox
Oversee technology processes and procedures (business’ and internal) as required
Draft and distribute communications to keep staff informed of technology changes, upcoming training events, and new technology initiatives
Participate in corporate initiatives to build a positive learning culture throughout MCAP
Research current trends to stay informed on industry best practices (training, business, and technology) and opportunities in order to provide appropriate recommendations
Seek and provide peer feedback on training delivery, design, and development
Demonstrate expert skills in end-to-end project management and ownership
Implement Training Programs
Provide technical support for training deliveries, Single Family events, and leadership initiatives
Administration of Learning Management System
Administration of Knowledge Management System
Support business units on design and development for technology training
Leadership Support
Maintain awareness of business unit goals, objectives, strategies, procedures, and technology changes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with all internal and external customers
Review reporting on common errors, for the purpose of proposing and creating reinforcement initiatives.

Research current trends to stay informed on industry best practices (training, business, and technology) and opportunities in order to provide appropriate recommendations.
Demonstrate expert skills in end-to-end project management and ownership
Build and maintain strong relationships with all internal and external customers
Learning Technology
Work with business units on various initiatives relating to learning technologies
Liaise with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve system problems efficiently and effectively
Make recommendations to maximize the use of learning technologies in support of new functionality and process improvement initiatives
Leverage internal and external resources to design, develop and implement technology training solutions
What You Bring To The Team
Minimum 2 – 3 years Learning and Development experience (using technologies such as Articulate 360, Camtasia, Adobe Premiere Pro, Vyond, MadCap, Cornerstone, etc.)
Minimum 2 years of live video streaming experience (using technologies such as Microsoft Teams, WebEx or other live streaming programs)
Critical thinking and consideration of holistic business impacts
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong cross-departmental relationships
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to manage competing priorities
Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Carries out duties with integrity and takes accountability for decisions and results
Strong knowledge of learning technologies and eLearning tools (such as Articulate 360, Camtasia, Vyond, MadCap, Cornerstone, etc.)
Hosting live events, video creation and editing skills
Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint applications
Bilingual French and English is an asset
