Sales Enabl. (Strat. & Gov) 13: Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $50,936 to $67, 915 plus a performance-based incentive.

Team Overview:
The Sectors and International Business Advisory (SIA) Teams work collaboratively with internal and external partners to build trade connections and deliver advisory solutions to accelerate growth for Canadian companies. Our team is a critical contributor to enabling EDC’s medium growth strategy. The SIA Operations team supports SIA by leading continuous improvements for SIA through development and execution of plans to support business needs, streamlining processes, tools and reporting and team programming/orchestration across SIA’s IBA, Sectors and Cleantech teams. This role posting is for and associate to support the advisors on the SIA Operations and International Business advisory teams.
The International Business Advisory (“IBA”) team is a customer facing team (which is part of the larger Sectors and International Advisory (SIA) team, that is a critical contributor to enabling EDC’s medium segment growth strategy. The team consists of a diverse set of professionals with expertise in the areas of international market intelligence, market entry, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation. Our mission is to make trade easier for our customers to help accelerate their growth into new markets. IBA’s core service is to provide customized advisory and research services specific to a company’s needs and growth aspirations. We offer these services through two practice groups: Markets and Strategy, and Regulatory Market Access. In addition, team members contribute to improving and streamlining services and collaborating with key internal or external stakeholders as required.
The ideal candidates will be energetic, hands-on professional who is interested and capable in the domains of operations management and continuous improvement. The associate will support SIA internal initiatives and operational orchestration pertaining to team governance, content management, communications, data and reporting, and operations management for the International Business advisory team. They will work together to ensure SIA’s interests and operational capabilities are sound and evolve to meet our team’s ability to accelerate EDC’s medium growth strategy. The candidate will have experience in operations management, agile management systems and tools, relationship and stakeholder management, analytics reporting and have proven capabilities to support continuous improvement initiatives.
What you will be doing:
For SIA overall:
Assist in the maintenance of the SIA SharePoint Site including updating processes, monitoring, reviewing and maintenance of key operational SharePoint Online file repositories for all SIA teams.
Assist in process documentation, governance, maintenance and review of processes owned across teams (connections consent, legal framework for advisory, advisory triage, CANCAP, Cleantech gating, etc.) that supports business execution.
Support SIA continuous improvement system to improve operations, streamline processes connected to our standard operated procedures and maximize team efficiencies to enhance business development execution and improve customer experience
Support SIA’s communications and content management plans for internal and external facing material aligned to EDC’s content pillars and strategy needs.
Confirm content needs and engage with SIA SMEs as required to support content sharing/repurposing opportunities.
Supports the reporting and maintenance of SIA owned reporting dashboards.
Prepare content as needed for communications, training, leader and stakeholder engagements and provides analytical support for presentations and reports.
Use our Customer Relationship Management systems to track and report on SIA activity to enable quality reporting and decision-making.
Build strong internal networks to support business execution and enablement
Specific to Advisory function:
Support operations and triage intake leads from MMB & MMGB through C3 or ad hoc requests through IBA inbox; work with relationship managers to ensure customer needs have been clearly identified and scoped to the services available through IBA.
Identify, trouble shoot and improve operational issues and processes.
Support the build out and implementation of templates and tools for advisors to scale advisory reach and ensure quality compliance.
Monthly report out of trends to enable proactive engagement with stakeholders as required
Support team communications as needed.
Support content sharing/repurposing with Knowledge and Marketing teams for digital delivery through edc.ca, campaigns, etc.
Support experimentation projects to scale IBA services and adjust service model.
What we are looking for:
Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration, Commerce or other relevant discipline;
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in project management/with sales operations, sales enablement, project management teams; change management; operations management; partner/stakeholder/channel management; business improvement and operational efficiency;
Excellent Sharepoint, C3, Excel, Word, Visio and Power-Point skills;
Proven ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and work with virtual teams;
Proactive self-starter who will comfortably move forward in an agile environment.
What will make you stand out:
Bilingualism in both official languages (French and English) is an important asset;
Knowledge of Sectors and International Business Advisory teams roles and responsibilities
Knowledge of Agile fundamentals (terminology, roles, ceremonies etc.);
Knowledge of Power BI and Azure Dev Ops (ADO);
Knowledge of Planview Enterprise Systems;
