As a leading engineering specialist that places innovation at the heart of its strategy, SEGULA Technologies carries out large-scale projects, ranging from studies to industrialization and production.Position based in Auburn Hills, Michigan (U.S.) / Eligibility to TN Visa required; must be a Canadian citizen (mandatory).Job DescriptionDesign, develop, and release suspension components and systems for OEM's production vehiclesDefine vehicle functional objectives and translate them to the component levelCollaborate with the Advanced Team on suspension architecture developmentContribute to suspension kinematic and compliance models with Virtual Analysis and Driving Dynamics teamsLead project execution, meeting engineering milestones per KPIs and timelinesManage component design, development, and packagingOversee Design Verification Plan & Report (DVPR) for componentsHandle engineering change management and Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM)Support prototype builds via component build matricesTrack and resolve issues using OEM's GIMS systemManage CAD models, fastener design, and torque specificationsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field with 2 to 5 years of experience in the automotive industryExperience in suspension system/component design and developmentKnowledge of suspension kinematics and compliance analysisAbility to work with cross-functional virtual analysis and dynamics teamsStrong grasp of engineering deliverables tied to project KPIsProficient in:Engineering change managementEBOM processesDVPR documentationCAD tools and model managementIssue tracking systems (e.g., OEM'S GIMS)Fastener design and torque specification developmentExperience supporting prototype builds and managing build matricesStrong communication and project management skillsAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
