Job Description: Position Purpose Summary: The Service Delivery Specialist – Master Data plays a key role in leading the implementation, adoption, and ongoing management of the organization's Master Data Management (MDM) platform and related data governance practices. This role acts as a strategic bridge between business and IT, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and security of master data across the enterprise, while enabling data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency. Key Accountabilities: Champion MDM Adoption: Lead the implementation and organizational adoption of the Master Data Management (MDM) platform (Ataccama), acting as a strategic advisor across departments. Develop Strategy and Governance: Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to design and implement scalable MDM strategies, data governance policies, and stewardship frameworks. Solution Architecture: Design and deploy end-to-end MDM solutions, including data modeling, workflows, integration processes, and architecture blueprints. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Data Owners, Stewards, Architects, and Application Owners to align MDM with enterprise-wide initiatives and technical requirements. Data Quality and Integrity: Lead efforts in data discovery, validation, cleansing, deduplication, and enrichment, ensuring high-quality master data across domains like Party, Program, and Location. Define Governance Rules: Create data dictionaries, taxonomies, validation rules, survivorship logic, and workflows to maintain consistency and accuracy of master data. Security and Compliance: Implement role-based access, data encryption, masking, audit logging, and retention policies to meet data security and compliance standards. Technology Integration: Ensure seamless integration of MDM solutions with enterprise applications (e.g., HCM, CRM, TDW) and enable data sharing across systems. Monitoring and Optimization: Continuously improve MDM processes by monitoring performance, implementing AI and third-party tools, and optimizing data lifecycle management. Training and Enablement: Provide training, documentation, and support for data stewards and business users to ensure consistent MDM adoption and compliance. Governance Leadership: Participate in the Data Oversight Working Group and oversee compliance with architectural standards, risk mitigation, and exception handling. Enterprise Influence: Promote MDM capabilities and standards across the organization, communicate strategic goals, and align MDM initiatives with long-term enterprise architecture. Education, Experience, and Qualifications: 10+ years of relevant experience with MDM and data management solutions. 5-7 years of hands-on experience in all phases of a typical MDM solution, data profiling, validation, cleansing, match & merge, data integration, workflows etc. Expert knowledge of Master Data Management processes is required. Certifications for MDM Platform (such as Ataccama ONE) or equivalent is required. Led or participated in at least one full life cycle MDM implementation. (Ataccama ONE preferred) Data modelling skills and understanding of key concepts like Party and Location Solid experience working with Data Quality tools (Ataccama ONE DQ preferred). Solid work experience with SQL and sound understanding of Regex expressions is required. Strong understanding of data profiling, and data lineage, ability to analyze data profiling results and identify patterns or anomalies. Knowledge of Agile development processes and experience working in cross-functional data teams. Exceptional communication, negotiation and organizational skills specifically including the ability to present complex technical and architectural strategies and directions to both IT and business staff including executives. Ability to build consensus and alignment between enterprise-wide direction and business specific initiatives and requirements. Compensation: The target hiring range for this position is $100,390.71 to $125,488.38 with a maximum of $150,586.06. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
