Weekends and holidays are required. SUMMARY As a Public Areas Attendant at Snowbird in Building Services you will maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the Snowbird Center and surrounding areas. WHAT YOU’LL DO Maintain cleanliness of public areas of the Snowbird Center and all restroom facilities. Empty and clean all trash and recycle bins. Report any maintenance issues to management. Clean and scrub floors within the building. Occasionally snow removal outside. Complete daily checklist for the building. WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. 0-6 months of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence. Must be at least 18 years of age. No certifications needed for this position. Must become familiar with all cleaning products that are used. Must operate various types of cleaning equipment including vacuums and floor scrubbers. Must be familiar with all MSDS information. Must complete daily checklists and turn in to management. WORK SCHEDULE Specific Shift: 7am to 3:30pm or 3pm-12:00am, depending on business levels. Weekends and holidays are required. WORKING CONDITIONS Must be prepared to stay overnight if necessary, on occasional times of road closures. May experience unusual stress from high business volumes, deadlines, continual work with public, winter conditions, snow night requirements and commuting to/from Snowbird. Must be able to lift 35 lbs. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must demonstrate ability to bend, kneel, handle, reach, grasp and perform repetitive motions. Work is outdoors and requires constant exposure to cold and other extreme weather conditions. Work is subject to frequent interruptions making continuity and accuracy difficult, frequent exposure to noise. Occasional contact with guests. Direct and continuous contact with co-workers, management, and other departments. Must have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird.
