As a General Labourer, you’ll play a key role in processing and sorting scrap metal materials in an outdoor environment. If you’re dependable, eager to learn, and have a strong attention to detail, you’ll be a great fit for our team.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential for overtime hours.
What you will be doing:
Work outdoors in all weather conditions
Receive, sort, and pick metal materials by hand
Operate equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, and other mobile machinery
Provide courteous and professional service to customers visiting McSteel North
What you will bring:
A strong work ethic and willingness to work outdoors year-round
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, sorting, and operating equipment
A team-player attitude with a commitment to workplace safety
Previous experience in a similar role is an asset, but not required
