Presently servicing a select group of advisors in Ontario, Winnipeg, and Western Canada, LP Financial is taking steps to grow its footprint and service offering in the Canadian financial services distribution landscape.The Wealth Administrator, reporting directly to the Wealth Advisors, will play a key role on the wealth management team by providing comprehensive administrative support to fulfill the multifaceted regulatory obligations of the wealth advisors. This position has a broad range of responsibilities that will allow the successful candidate to learn, experience and flourish in many different areas of wealth administration. Job DescriptionRole & ResponsibilitiesPrimary responsibilities include but are not limited to:Handle mutual fund and life insurance administration tasks, including completing client transactions, registrations, and data entry with a high level of professionalism and confidentialityProvide timely administrative support to the wealth management team by managing and organizing client documentation, ensuring all records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with internal standards and regulatory requirementsCoordinate and prepare materials for client meetings and follow-up documentation to ensure a positive client experienceGenerate and distribute reports to support the wealth management team’s client reviews, portfolio updates, and strategic planningAssist with conducting research and data gathering to help Wealth Advisors in developing financial strategies and recommendations for clientsEnsure that all sales, service delivery, and operational activities meet legislative, regulatory, and compliance requirementsCoordinate and manage appointment scheduling, and assess client needs to make appropriate referrals to subject matter expertsProactively identify and uncover client needs, including accepting transactions and trade requests (within scope of position)Perform ad-hoc duties as needed QualificationsEducation, Work Experience and Skill Sets:Extensive experience in an Office Administrator role in a financial services environmentLicensed Mutual Fund Representative (MFDA or equivalent)Experience with life insurance administration, including new business and servicingPost-secondary education in Business/Commerce or a related degreeExcellent proficiency with MS Office particularly Word, Excel Outlook, and experience with financial tools considered an assetExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience in handling sensitive and confidential documents and coordination of communicationsTechnical fluency with the ability to learn and adapt to new technology effectivelyA demonstrated, reliable work ethic with the ability to manage multiple/competing prioritiesAn ability to adapt quickly to changing needs and work environment Additional InformationComprehensive health, dental and vision benefitsHealth & Wellness Spending Account4% Matching RRSP allocationGreat workplace culture!
