Job Description What is the opportunity? We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director, Production Support to join our dynamic and innovative team in Halifax. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the evolution of our infrastructure. What will you do? Monitoring margin and trade moments in Security Lending business and dealing with third party agents for collateral movements. Developing and maintaining output service-level agreements with user departments and business units for Repo Global Trading and Securities Finance systems. Working on daily activities for production control and computer personnel to ensure timely and effective reporting, tracking, follow-up and communication of problems with the user community. Overseeing and coordinating technical support for end-user training, production testing and equipment modifications. Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all information entered in production scheduling and problem management systems. Monitoring the application processes and trade movement to Settlement and middle office Risk & Finance systems. Interact with vendor, Front, Back and Middle office users to identify their problems and find solutions related to various functions within the application. Pager rotation, on call and occasional weekend work will be part of this role. What do you need to succeed? Must have: Knowledge or experience in Capital Markets Knowledge of Operating systems like Linux and windows and Oracle database. Experience in Monitor and tracking systems like ServiceNow, ITRS, JIRA etc. Experience with a messaging framework (MQ, Solace, etc) Nice-to-have: Experience managing production support in Security Lending/Finance, Central Funding and Repo trading systems and knowledge of the trade life cycle. Understanding of build and deployment management Knowledgeable in database technologies What’s in it for you?
