Your mission:
As a Senior Repair Technician, your mission is to ensure the quality and reliability of our products through expert diagnosis, repair, and continuous improvement of electronic hardware. You’ll support product excellence by identifying issues, collaborating with engineering, and sharing your knowledge to guide and mentor junior team members, all while helping to strengthen our internal processes and uphold high standards of technical integrity.

In this role you will:
Develop and maintain troubleshooting procedures and repair manuals
Evaluate returned items to determine warranty eligibility or customer-caused damage
Issue RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) numbers to customers
Provide software unlock codes as needed
Maintain and update the service parts database
Monitor and manage service parts inventory levels
Perform quality control checks and rework defective new products
Service and repair customer-returned products
Identify and report product design issues to the appropriate R&D staff
Collaborate with engineering to review issues found in returned products
Develop and implement test jigs and diagnostic procedures for troubleshooting
Assist with prototype assembly and rework for research and development
Train testing technicians on repair and rework techniques
Use the latest RCC application software (e.g., RC-Studio, RC-Toolkit) to verify product functionality
Proofread technical documents and procedures

This role might be right for you if you have:
Diploma or certificate in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field
5+ years of hands-on experience repairing and troubleshooting electronic products
Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuits, including soldering and rework (SMD and through-hole)
Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers
Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
Familiarity with embedded systems, firmware, and software-assisted troubleshooting
Experience documenting repair procedures and reporting technical issues to engineering teams
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical teams
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage inventory and service part tracking
