Job Summary
The Companion/Caregiver is a member of the home care team who works under the
supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services
as necessary to meet the client’s needs.
The client is a 29 year old male with autism that needs companionship, and a
sort of ‘supervisor’ to make sure he stays safe. He is very independent, but
sometimes makes bad decisions like gets on the wrong bus, or spends too much
money at a restaurant.
We are looking for a male caregiver that is around the same age as this client
to keep an eye on him, but also act like his friend. He's an avid hockey fan
that goes out typically anywhere between 3-5 nights around 5pm to midnight

Qualifications
- Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing
student).
- Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
- Ability to travel around Greater Vancouver Area
